Dan joined the Fastpacs Board of Directors in 2023. Native to North Texas, Dan was born in Dallas and raised in Plano. He serves as a Senior Vice President and Human Resources Executive for Bank of America, where he leads strategic HR efforts for over 15,500 employees in the North Texas, Austin and San Antonio markets. He has been with Bank of America since 2007. Prior to Bank of America, Dan was the CHRO for Nationwide Recovery Systems in Addison and served in several HR management roles at MCI Telecommunications and BP, in Houston.

Dan is a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class XXVI, serves on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, served on the Frisco ISD Legislative Leadership Committee and 2024 Bond Committee and is a member of the Corporate Advisory Council for My Possibilities, in Plano. Dan has previously served as President of Congregation Nishmat Am in Plano and continues to serve as an ex-officio board member.

Dan and his wife, Ashley, moved to Frisco in 2013 with their sons Jackson and Connor. Jackson is a member of the Independence High School tennis team and Connor attends Nelson Middle School, where he sings in Choir. Both previously served as Campus Ambassadors, at Nelson.

Kevin as his family, wife Jennifer and kids Ryan and Reese, have been Frisco residents since 2001, but he was raised in the Plano area.  Kevin has been securities licensed since 1999 and is experienced in assisting CPA's and Attorneys to bring financial planning resources to their practices. He then transitioned to consulting financial advisors and their clients; assisting them with concepts such as estate planning, long term care planning, retirement plans for business owners and life insurance strategies.  Currently, Kevin is assisting his own clients as a local Certified Financial Planner ® with Edward Jones here in Frisco focusing on families, small business owners and affluent clients organize and plan for their financial lives.

Certifications include; Certified Financial Planner®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, & Chartered Life Underwriter®

Kevin's community service includes being a past Board Member and finance committee member at Grace Ave United Methodist Church, and currently serves on the boards of the Heritage Association of Frisco, the Frisco Parks and trails naming committee, and on the local committee for the Alzheimer's association walk. 

allie spletter, BOARD MEMBER

With more than 15 years of experience in writing, editing, and education, Allie’s role as Managing Editor of Frisco STYLE Magazine allows her to celebrate what an incredible place Frisco is, in addition to highlighting the people, businesses, and stories that make Frisco such a special place to live, work and play.

In addition to the Frisco Fastpacs Board, she proudly serves as Secretary of the Executive Board for Melody of Hope and is an active member of the Baylor Scott & White Women’s Health Council and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce’s Women Enhancing Business (WEB) Council.

A former educator and high school counselor, Allison holds a BA in English Literature from the University of North Texas and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. Her heart for community and storytelling shines through in both her professional work and volunteer commitments.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Allie loves working out, traveling with her husband Zach, and pretending to be at good at tennis.  Allie is honored to join the Frisco Fastpacs Board of Directors this year and looks forward to supporting its mission of feeding and uplifting local children in need.

kimberly y. evans, BOARD MEMBER

Kimberly Y. Evans is an attorney with an MBA and the Founder of Purposed Consulting, LLC, A full service Financial Services & Business Consulting Firm. She serves as the President and CEO managing the Financial Services, Business Consulting, Legal and Operational functions of the company.  She also develops Programs for Speaking Engagements, Summits, Panels, Workshops, and Mentoring. 

 

Kimberly’s career spans more than 33 years in the Financial Services Industry where she specialized in Transactional Law, Contracts, Taxes, Tax Free Retirement Accounts, Living Benefits, Mortgage Banking and Regulatory Policy, Risk and Compliance.​

 

Kimberly’s leadership roles include:

  • Frisco, TX Economic Development Corporation Board Member, Economic Development Committee Chair - North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta, Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Co-Founder of The Wealth Table, Co-Founder of Black/African American Collaboration (BAAC), BUILD Advisory Council (Blacks United in Leadership Development), A National Life Group Community, Frisco Diversity Leadership Council Board Member, Founder of the Averrow Boardroom – A Women’s Professional & Personal Development Organization

Kimberly has been a resident of Dallas, TX since 2002 where she currently resides with her family. She joined the Frisco Fastpacs board in June 2025.

SADAF HAQ, BOARD MEMBER

Originally from New York State, Sadaf moved to Frisco with her family in 2015. She co-founded a medical practice in Frisco with her husband, for which she provides community relations and business development. She is also the founder of Be In Health Foundation, a non-profit serving children in Frisco ISD without basic medical and wellness care. Sadaf has a B.S. in biology and a Masters in Public Health from SUNY-Albany.

Sadaf is in her sixth year on the Fastpacs Board of Directors. A passionate and active community advocate, she also sits on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, the City of Frisco's Inclusion Committee, the Maus MS PTA Board, the board of MuslimAidUSA, the Texas Healthcare Advisory Council, and the Texas Health Resources Community Impact Council for Collin County. She chairs the City of Frisco's Social Services and Housing Board, and serves on two Frisco ISD committees-- the Diversity Task Force and Student Healthcare Advisory Committee. She was a New Leaders Council fellow in the class of 2021, and is a graduate of Leadership North Texas.

Sadaf has been published twice in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and just recently had her first children’s book published. The Haqs have three daughters attending Frisco ISD schools.

CHRISTAL HOWARD, BOARD MEMBER

2025-2026 is Christal's sixth year on the Fastpacs Board of Directors, where she co-chairs the Marketing Committee. She has previously served as the chair for the Empty Bowls Frisco event, and emceed the fundraiser for five years. Christal has previously served on the Frisco Education Foundation Board and the Visit Frisco (CVB) Board. She is a past Chair of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Board, and is a Survivor Spokesperson for the American Heart Association.

 

Christal moved to Frisco in 2013 to launch a local edition of Community Impact Newspaper, where she worked for 10+ years.  Christal took on a new role of Chief Operating Officer of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce in 2023 and has hit the ground running, using her business acumen in tandem with the knowledge and pride she has for our great city.  Prior to her days in Frisco, Christal worked in television news as an anchor, managing editor and reporter. She earned a BA in Journalism from Texas Tech University.

With husband Michael, Christal has two children: Emma and Bennett.

Maurice D. Jelks is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Strategist with PNC Private Bank®, where he advises high-net-worth clients on complex financial strategies that support their personal, business, and multigenerational objectives. As a fiduciary partner, he draws on deep advisory experience and a coordinated team of specialists to deliver strategic guidance, disciplined insight, and customized solutions that drive long-term results. His approach is grounded in clarity, thoughtful collaboration, and a commitment to meaningful client impact.


Maurice brings a strong and diverse background in private banking and wealth advisory. Before joining PNC Private Bank, he served at Bank of America Private Bank in Frisco, advising affluent families, executives, and business owners on advanced planning, lending, and investment strategies. Earlier in his career, he worked at Northern Trust in Chicago, supporting complex multigenerational relationships and refining his expertise in wealth
structuring and high-touch client service. These experiences shaped his ability to simplify complexity, coordinate seamlessly across teams, and guide clients with precision and confidence.


Maurice is active in the North Texas community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Frisco Fastpacs, and on the advisory boards for Leadership Frisco and Treasured Vessels Foundation. He is also a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class XXI, contributing to initiatives that strengthen community engagement and development.

 

Maurice holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence. He lives in McKinney, TX, and outside of work enjoys
traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, and getting out on his motorcycle. At home, Maurice can often be found unwinding with his family—and their four-legged member of the household leadership team, Legend.

lauren laAke, Board MEMBER

Lauren Laake has worked in Frisco for the past 5 years. She currently is the Community Outreach Manager for Baylor Scott & White Health and manages outreach, community relations, corporate outreach and programming on behalf of Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center – Centennial as well as the new Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway. Prior to joining the BSWH team, Lauren worked for the PGA of America as Community Relations Lead where she played an integral part in laying the foundation for community engagement in the DFW Metroplex and the opening of the new home office of the PGA of America in Frisco.

In addition to her professional experience, Lauren also spends a significant amount of time investing in herself and giving back to the community. She is an alumni of Leadership Frisco - Class 24 and serves on the Community Engagement & Opportunity Council Advisory Board, Plug and Play Advisory Council and previously served on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, Celina Education Foundation Board of Directors, and American Heart Association’s Leaders for Life.

Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in 2008 and is currently pursuing her Executive Master of Public Service and Administration at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M (Whoop!).

 

 

jeb matulich, Board MEMBER

Jeb Matulich joined the Frisco Fastpacs board in 2025, bringing with him a deep commitment to children and the Frisco community. A proud native Texan who has lived in nearly every corner of the state, Jeb and his family have called Frisco home since 2000.

Before retiring in May 2024, Jeb dedicated 28 years to public education, 24 of those in Frisco ISD. He began his career at Clark Middle School, where he taught Texas History and coached boys athletics for six years. He then spent 18 years at Liberty High School as the Fine Arts Department Chair and an Art Instructor, nurturing creativity and leadership in generations of local students.

Jeb is also an entrepreneur and artist. Since 2011, he has co-owned and designed for Tumbleweed TexStyles, a Texas-inspired apparel brand. He and his wife also own Tejas Country Club, an art collective that showcases and sells his work online. Inspired by all things Texana and the American Southwest, his art features subjects such as old neon signs, maps, landscapes, and iconic Texas landmarks.

Active in the community, Jeb is a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class XXVI, currently serves as Vice Chair of the Frisco Arts and Culture Board, and is a longtime member of the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco.

A graduate of Texas Tech University with a BS in Kinesiology, Jeb and his wife Carrie have two children, both proud graduates of Frisco ISD. In his free time, he enjoys creating art, attending live music concerts, cooking, traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends.

Katrina Watland was born in Norway and grew up moving around Europe. Katrina received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University and her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Katrina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a certification from Norsk Coach Akademi (Norwegian Coaching Academy). Katrina spent the bulk of her career working at the Women’s Center at the University of Texas at Dallas as a counselor, facilitator and teacher for 19 years.  She is the founder of TrueNorth Coaching and Consulting.

 

Katrina graduated from Leadership Frisco Class XII and has previously served on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council and the Frisco Family Services Board.

 

After living abroad for the past year, Katrina rejoins the Frisco Fastpacs board with open arms. Katrina and her husband Jay enjoy family, traveling and volunteering.

Cynthia hurley, EX OFFICIO

A 25-year Frisco resident, Cynthia has a distinguished service resume to the community, including past positions on the boards of the Frisco Community Development Corporation, the Frisco Arts Association, and the Frisco Education Foundation. She is also active in the Rotary Club of Frisco.

 

Cynthia has been a dedicated Fastpacs supporter since its founding, working with Marian Schulze to help Frisco Fastpacs establish its incorporating paperwork as a 501(c)3 charity.

Cynthia is a Managing Attorney at Loveland & Hurley PLLC, where she is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

jody brown, BOARD MEMBER

Jody Brown is a Retirement Income Certified Planner (RICP®) with Opes One Advisors in Addison, where he has served individuals and families since 2023. Prior to his work in financial planning, Jody spent 23 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator in Frisco ISD. During his tenure, he served on multiple district committees and continues to support the district as a member of the Legislative Leadership Committee.

Jody joined the Fastpacs Board of Directors in June 2025 after volunteering for two years as a Community Pack Night leader. His deep roots in the Frisco community—dating back to 1997—and commitment to local service reflect his passion for supporting families and children.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. Jody is the proud father of two adult children, both graduates of Frisco ISD, with his late wife, Jennifer.

Jenny Bitsche, board member

Jenny has proudly called Frisco home for more than 20 years and is deeply committed to
serving the community through volunteerism and civic engagement. Since the founding of
Fastpacs in 2013, she has served in numerous capacities, including school delivery driver, home
delivery driver, warehouse volunteer, and member of the Governance and Strategic
Development Committees. In 2026, she joined the organization’s Board of Directors and is
dedicated to help fight against childhood hunger.


Jenny has also contributed her leadership and service by serving on the board of several
nonprofit and community organizations, including Frisco Women’s League, Junior Frisco
Women’s League, Cookies and Castles Frisco, PTA, Moms in Prayer, and Booster Club. She is
passionate about supporting initiatives that strengthen families, education, and community
involvement, and she believes strongly in investing in future generations through service and
leadership.


Jenny and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of two daughters, Brooke and
Blakeleigh, both graduates of Frisco Independent School District. Raising their family in Frisco
has further deepened her appreciation for the community and reinforced her dedication to
making a meaningful impact.


Originally from Oklahoma, Jenny attended the University of Oklahoma. She earned a degree in
Elementary Education and taught elementary school for five years before transitioning to focus
on raising her family and bettering the community through volunteering. Since 2013, she has
been a personal stylist with J.Hilburn Menswear.


Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Jenny enjoys spending time with
family and friends, particularly in Oklahoma and at Lake Texoma. She remains dedicated to
serving others and giving back to the community she proudly calls home.

RENE ARCHAMBAULT, board member

Former Frisco ISD Trustee Rene Archambault is a higher education leader and communications expert with more than 20 years of experience in graduate admissions, recruitment, marketing, strategic communications, and educational leadership. She currently serves in a director-level role focused on strategic enrollment management and student engagement in higher education.

During her six years of service on the Board of Trustees for Frisco ISD, Rene served two years as Board President, helping lead one of the nation’s fastest-growing public school districts through periods of significant growth, long-range planning, and strategic innovation. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, strong commitment to public education, and passion for community engagement.

In addition to her service in public education, Rene is a former board member of the Frisco Women’s League and Frisco Fastpacs, where she supported initiatives benefiting local students, families, and community programs.

A longtime resident of Frisco, Rene holds a master’s degree in Educational Policy and Leadership. She is also the proud mother of 20-year-old Zoë, a student at Texas A&M University majoring in Animal Science. Rene remains actively involved in nonprofit and civic efforts that strengthen the community and expand opportunities for others.
