Frisco Fastpacs would like to welcome four new board members to our Board of Directors for the 2023-24 school year. Maurice Jelks, Lauren Laake and Dan Peril are all beginning their first term as new board members. Katrina Watland, who has been living abroad for the past year, is returning to her position as a board member, and has elected for a new two-year term. We are pleased to be adding their experience to our leadership team and know they will hit the ground running.
This year also brings some officer changes. Meaghan Wall was elected as Board President, following in the footsteps of Karen Cunningham, who will serve as Past President, having just ended her two-year term as President. The board wants to thank Karen for her service to the board and for always putting our mission first and foremost in every decision.
Sarah Recker enters her third year on the Fastpacs board and in the role of Board Secretary and Matthew Reiter is also reprising his service as Board Treasurer for the fifth year.
Ann Anderson and Tracy Gamble are each beginning their fourth year; Sadaf Haq and Christal Howard, each beginning their third year; Christi Mitchell starting her second year and ex officio members Rene Archambault beginning her sixth year and Cynthia Hurley beginning her second.
We would be remiss not to mention Kristan Olfers who is stepping down from the board this year to pursue her passion. She completed a Masters degree while serving on the Frisco Fastpacs board the past few years (and during the pandemic!) and has an opportunity to teach writing. We wish you luck and thank you for your dedication to serving our board. You will truly be missed.
